Intertwined

The Rococo period required restraint for beauty and love, often reflected in its corsets. Inspired by the moment Mr. Darcy's hand grazes Elizabeth's in Pride and Prejudice, I reimagined the corset to show progress while still portraying a quiet, intimate love that is expressed through closeness rather than words.

The soft fabric removes the constraints placed on women throughout history, while the two hands meeting, fingers intertwined, show the eternal connection between humans that remains regardless of these changes.
