This piece explores heartbreak and moving on through everyday symbols.

I painted a faceless girl who, as the relationship in her life falls apart, throws away the flowers that once represented love. The empty bowl beside her puppy quietly mirrors the emptiness she feels.

I wanted the composition to feel restrained and quiet, allowing small details to carry emotion. The muted colors suggest a story that has already ended, a chapter she is now closing.However, the puppy and its empty bowl show that while that story has ended, her story itself is not over.

Waiting reflects the weight of loss and love that has faded while showing that life will go on, with other loves and responsibilities.
